First Lady Cecilia Hicks is a native of Toledo OH. She was educated in the public school system, graduating From Calvin M. Woodward and start Vocational Skill Center, Computer Programming and Accounting was her specialized field of study. After graduation, she enrolled in the University of Toledo to pursue her studies in Computer Programming.
Cecilia later accepted a position as a Computer Operator in Toledo OH shortly before her husband accepted a job offer which relocated the family to the Winchester Virginia area in 1989. First Lady now holds the position of Accounting Assistant to the CFO at Melnor Inc., in Winchester, VA
Cecilia began her walk with God at an early age and was baptized at True Vine Missionary Baptist Church, Toledo OH, under the leadership of Rev. Barnes. After she and Pastor Hicks were married, she later joined the New Home Baptist Church to be with her husband. After moving to Winchester she and her family joined the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church where she served as one of the choir directors under Pastor Gilbert M. Mack Jr. She is currently a member of Zion Baptist Church, Berryville, VA, where her husband Rev. Delbert Hicks, is her Pastor. She currently serves as the leader of the Women’s Ministry and has hosted two of the bi-annually scheduled Women’s Conferences; 2006 “Going to another Level” and 2008 “Diamond’s are a Girls Best Friend” Zion has experienced a new dimension in God through the Conferences hosted by first Lady. She is an avid drum player, and loves to play and on occasion will fill in if needed!
First Lady and Pastor have been married for 25 years. They have two wonderful sons: Evonn Delbert and Ethan Alex and also have many God Sons/Daughters, they love and adore as well.
